Full job description

Minimum 2 years experience in kitchen/food handling is required.

We're looking for a new team member to join us at TLC Bakery, who can assist in both kitchen prep, aswell as front of house.

This position is perfect for someone with a real passion for food, enjoys a fast-paced environment, and who can deliver excellent customer service!

The role-

-Serving customers

-Talking through cake counter flavours and answering menu or dietary questions

-Preparing a variety of drinks including coffees, hot chocolates, and milkshakes

-Assisting with general daily cleaning duties

-Provide friendly and excellent customer service

-Preparing Breakfast and lunch items

-Preparing fresh sandwiches, toasties and seasonal favourites

-Getting involved with seasonal specials and new menu ideas

-Prepare food for outside catering

-Maintain excellent hygiene and food safety standards & kitchen records

-Monitor and assist with stock-takes, and food rotation

Weekend availability is essential for this role, to include every Sunday, and every other Saturday.

Minimum of 13.5 hours per week, with the opportunity to do more, which can be discussed in an interview.

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Experience:

  • Kitchen: 2 years (preferred)
  • Barista: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (preferred)

Work Location: In person
