Coffee jobs in Bath

Boston Tea Party

Come and be a Good Egg.

We’re looking for brilliant Team Members to join our Boston Tea Party team.

Never worked in a café before? That's absolutely fine.

We can teach you how to make coffee, take an order and carry three plates without disaster. What we're really looking for are great people - people who are friendly, curious, reliable and happy to get stuck in.

Because at Boston, everyone plays their part.

What you'll be doing

Café life moves pretty quickly, so you won't spend much time standing still.

Depending on the shift, you might be welcoming guests, taking orders, running food, clearing tables, making drinks or helping your teammates through a busy Saturday brunch.

You'll:

• Give every guest a warm, genuine welcome.

• Take orders and help people find something they'll love.

• Serve brilliant food and drinks.

• Learn about our menu, coffee and what makes Boston different.

• Keep the café looking great throughout the day.

• Get to know our regulars - and help turn new guests into regulars.

• Jump in and help your teammates when things get busy.

• Learn new skills and take on more as your confidence grows.

• Bring your personality to work.

Nobody gets the glamorous jobs all day, either. Café life means clearing tables, loading dishwashers, sweeping floors and occasionally dealing with a spectacularly messy highchair.

We're all one team, and we all get stuck in.

Who we're looking for

You don't need hospitality experience.

You don't need to know anything about coffee.

And you definitely don't need to arrive knowing all the answers.

We're much more interested in your attitude.

You'll probably be someone who:

Makes Connections
You enjoy being around people and making them feel welcome. You're happy to have a chat, notice when someone needs something and bring a bit of personality to their day.

Leads Responsibly
You turn up when you say you will, work hard and look out for the people around you. If something needs doing, you're happy to get stuck in.

Fuels Growth
You're willing to learn. Whether this is your first ever job, something that fits around the rest of your life or the beginning of a hospitality career, we'll help you build new skills.

What's in it for you?

We'll give you all the training you need.

You'll learn from brilliant people, build your confidence and develop skills you can take with you wherever your career goes.

And if you discover that hospitality is your thing, there's plenty of opportunity to grow at Boston.

You could develop your coffee skills and become a Barista or Head Barista. You might take your first step into leadership as a Café Shift Leader and eventually work towards running a café of your own.

Or you might just want a brilliant job with a great team.

Both are absolutely fine with us.

You'll also get a great package of Boston benefits and the advantage of working in daytime hospitality without the late-night finishes.

Good Eggs Only

We've been doing things a little differently since 1995.

We care about great food, great coffee, our communities and doing business in a way we're proud of.

But you don't create great hospitality with policies, recipes or fancy coffee machines.

You create it with great people.

So bring your personality. Bring your energy. Bring a willingness to learn and get stuck in.

We'll teach you the rest.

Come and be a Good Egg.
