Artigiano Espresso & Wine Bars

We are looking for a supervisor for our Exeter branch, starting as soon as possible.

The position is full time, the salary is very competitive and based on experience.

Job description:

  • Responsibility for leading and motivating team members
  • Ensure that the team are fully briefed and trained on food and drink products, and on any promotional activity, as appropriate
  • Ensure the duty manager is notified of any performance issues immediately, e.g. lateness, discrepancies, incidents
  • Assist in implementing and driving promotional activities
  • Ensure team members deliver the relevant upselling
  • Ensure wastage is managed and reported
  • Lead by example to ensure that the highest possible levels of customer service are delivered by team members at all times
  • Ensure the business is clean, tidy and well presented at all times
  • Ensure the team serves all products to company and brand specification
  • Manage the stock by placing orders and carrying out stock takes.
  • Responsibility for opening and closing the store when required.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Several years’ experience working in retail/hospitality industry.
  • Knowledge and interest in coffee, wine, cocktails and food.
  • An outgoing and enthusiastic personality.
  • Leadership skills.
  • Good English Language
  • Self-motivated and able to work in a busy environment
