We are looking for a warm, professional and guest-focused Receptionist to deliver an exceptional welcome and create memorable first impressions for every guest visiting Wilderness Reserve.

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, delivering a warm, professional welcome and creating exceptional first impressions. You'll play a key role in ensuring a seamless guest experience by supporting reception operations, handling guest enquiries, coordinating bookings, and maintaining the highest standards of service and presentation across the reception environment.

Duties

• Deliver a warm, professional welcome to guests, providing exceptional customer service throughout their stay.
• Manage guest check-ins, check-outs and reception enquiries, ensuring a seamless luxury experience.
• Coordinate guest requests and bookings, including leisure stays, while providing administrative support to the Guest Services team.
• Prepare barista-style drinks, retail products and local produce orders, maintaining excellent presentation standards.
• Answer and direct incoming calls, ensuring guest requests are efficiently communicated to the appropriate teams.
• Maintain a clean, organised and welcoming reception environment, consistently upholding Wilderness Reserve's high standards.

Experience

• Professional, friendly and approachable, with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest service.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Confident communicating with guests and colleagues, both in person and over the telephone.
• Calm and proactive, with the ability to resolve guest enquiries efficiently and professionally.
• A positive team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced, luxury hospitality environment.
• Previous experience in reception, hospitality, guest services or a customer-facing role is desirable.
• Flexibility is essential, as this role is based on a five-day working week across a seven-day rota, with a mixture of early, late, and daytime shifts.
• Due to our rural location, a full UK driving licence is essential.
