Lecturer for Communication and Media – Bachelor B2

King Stage is an education institution specialising in sustainability, fashion, luxury hospitality and sports business. Our London premises offer a dynamic, supportive and professional learning environment where students are encouraged to develop practical skills, industry knowledge and confidence.

You will join a diverse and collaborative team that values new ideas, open communication and high-quality teaching. We work closely together to support our students and create engaging learning experiences connected to the realities of the sports business sector.

We are looking for an experienced teacher or industry professional to deliver the Communication and Media unit to our Bachelor 2 students during Semesters 1 and 2.

Semester 1 – Modules covered:

· Brands in Sport

· Communication and Media

· Journalism and Storytelling

· Business English

Semester 1 teaching hours: 80.5 hours

Semester 2 – Module covered:

· Business English

Semester 2 teaching hours: 21 hours

Total teaching hours: 101.5 hours

We are looking for someone with professional or teaching experience in sports communication, brand strategy, media, journalism, storytelling, public relations or Business English.

Minimum requirements:

· A bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification at UK Level 6

· A minimum of three years’ teaching, training or professional facilitation experience

· Relevant professional or academic experience in the subject areas covered

The successful candidate will be expected to deliver practical and engaging lessons using current examples from the sports industry. Students should be encouraged to apply their learning through case studies, workshops, communication campaigns, media projects, presentations and real-life professional scenarios.

The course should also integrate innovative and sustainable approaches to communication, including responsible brand messaging, ethical journalism, inclusive communication, digital media innovation and the accurate communication of sustainability initiatives.

Contract: Freelance / Part-time

Semester: Semesters 1 and 2

Teaching hours: 101.5 hours

Teaching period: September–May

Hourly rate: £45 per hour
