We are seeking Qualified & Unqualified Tutors to support our Post 16 Hampshire delivery team.

Location – across North Hampshire Outreach Support - own transport required to transport young people.

Working pattern - 40 weeks (term time plus 5 days across the year for training & development)

Working hours - Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm (Part time days available)

Salary - £24,000 - £32,000 (dependant on skills and qualifications)

September Start Date!

Be the spark that helps a young person believe their future can be brighter.

Many of the children and young people we support—particularly those with SEMH needs or SEN—have faced experiences that may have left them feeling disconnected, anxious, or disheartened about education and their future. Every young person deserves someone who refuses to give up on them. Could that be you?

We are seeking compassionate, proactive individuals to join our Post‑16 delivery team. You will play a key pastoral role, supporting young people to re‑engage, build confidence, develop resilience, and rediscover a sense of purpose and belonging.

Our provision offers flexible, child‑centred programmes tailored to individual needs, supporting young people to access full‑ or part‑time pathways. These programmes are particularly suited to those for whom a large sixth form or college environment may not be appropriate, and are delivered through a variety of approaches and settings.

You’ll have the autonomy to shape your support in a way that meets each young person’s emotional, social, and developmental needs—helping them overcome barriers, build positive relationships, and move forward with confidence.

This is a meaningful opportunity to make a genuine, lasting difference in a young person’s life.

What the role involves

  • Offering 1:1 support in the learner’s home, in an appropriate community setting or Dare2Dream Post 16 Hub
  • Creating bespoke, engaging sessions that reflect each young person’s needs, strengths and interests
  • Working term‑time only
  • Flexible working options between 9am – 1pm, 1pm – 5pm or all day 9am – 5pm
  • Supporting young people across North Hampshire - Working within a radius of your home address of no more than 30 minutes (travel expenses & business insurance reimbursed)

Who we’re looking for

  • Professionals with at least one year’s experience supporting children and young people with SEN and SEMH needs, including Autism, learning disabilities, or behaviour that challenges
  • Individuals from Early Years, Primary, Secondary, or Post‑16 backgrounds, including specialist SEND environments
  • Individuals with experience supporting young people within settings such as youth and community organisations, sports programmes, or arts-based activities
  • Individuals looking for full or part time employment
  • QTS Required for Qualified Scale (unqualified roles also available)

What you get in return

  • Competitive pay
  • Travel expenses
  • Supportive team environment
  • Opportunities for progression and training
  • Laptop, phone & resources needed for the role

Full & Part Time roles available

Working hours - Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm (part time days available)

Salary Scales are:
Actual Salary - £24,000 - £28,000 Unqualified
