COMMERCIAL MORTGAGE ADVISER
Location: Milton Keynes, UK
Salary: £30,000 to £45,000 basic depending on experience + uncapped performance-related commission
Realistic OTE Year 1: OTE up to £70,000 yr 1

ABOUT US

Approved Finance Group is a directly authorised, FCA-regulated finance brokerage based in Milton Keynes. Since 2019 we have facilitated over £700m in funding across business finance, property finance and motor finance.

Our commercial property division is growing and we're looking for an experienced broker to join the team and help take it to the next level. You'll be working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment with the backing of an established, award-winning business behind you.

THE ROLE

You'll manage the full deal lifecycle across bridging loans, commercial mortgages, and development finance - from generating new opportunities through to completion. You'll work closely with clients, lenders, and internal stakeholders to deliver compliant, commercially sound outcomes at pace.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Generate and convert new bridging, commercial mortgage, and development finance opportunities
  • Manage the full application process from initial fact-find through to payout
  • Build and maintain strong lender and client relationships to drive repeat business
  • Process and review regulated financial documents with a high degree of accuracy
  • Conduct proactive outbound business development alongside managing inbound enquiries
  • Maintain compliance with FCA regulatory requirements and internal procedures
  • Update and manage deal pipelines using CRM systems (we use Microsoft Dynamics)

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in commercial or residential mortgage broking - essential
  • CeMAP qualified or working towards it - preferred
  • Proven track record of managing cases from enquiry through to completion
  • Strong knowledge of secured lending products: bridging, commercial mortgages, development finance
  • Confident communicator - written, telephone, and face-to-face with business clients
  • Comfortable using CRM platforms (Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, or similar)
  • High attention to detail when handling regulated documentation
  • Self-starter who can manage a pipeline independently and hit targets
  • Right to work in the UK; able to reliably commute to or relocate to Milton Keynes

PACKAGE

  • Basic salary: £30,000 - £45,000 dependent on experience
  • OTE: up to £70,000 in year one
