We are seeking a dedicated, ambitious, and eager-to-learn Commis Chef to join our Dormy Culinary team.

The heart of our cosy clubhouse, The Dormy is a favoured place to pause for our members and visitors alike, with a hearty menu of grill classics, comfort food and specialities from our tandoor and pizza ovens.

The on target earning potential for this role is £38,655 / per annum - comprising a base salary of £33,655, plus a qualified estimate of £5,000 in gratuities and service charge.* As a member of the Gleneagles team, you will also enjoy a fantastic range of perks, benefits and rewards.

• Learning lots, on the job, and as you gain more experience, responsibility will come with this
• Making sure our operation runs without hitch, orders and deliveries are coming and going as needed, our service is smooth and our food hygiene standards are sky-high
• You’ll play a key part in ensuring our Pastry kitchen continues to excel in producing the most creative, innovative and inspirational items
• Bringing delicious, creative and bespoke flavours and creations to our guests’ tables; you’ll become an asset to your team, determined to grab every opportunity and you have a huge appetite to learn from the best in the business
• Maintaining a can-do and problem-solving attitude with a fantastic eye for the detail and precision
• Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way

• About gratuities service charge:

• Gratuities (tips) and service charge (an additional charge added to our room rates and services across the hotel that is passed directly to our employees) are paid on a pro-rata basis regardless of your role
