Company Overview

Cardiff Rugby is a professional rugby club based at Cardiff Arms Park. Its stadium hosts match-day hospitality, events, functions and sporting games.

35 hours per week, you will be expected to work additional hours to meet the requirements of your position including where your role requires you to work on match days or events.

Days/hours of work will be based on business demands and the rugby schedule. These would Include weekends and occasionally include bank holidays.

Summary

As a Commis Chef, you’ll support food preparation and cooking for Cardiff Rugby’s stadium hospitality and events. Your impact: well-prepared food helps guests enjoy their visit and enables the kitchen team to deliver hospitality smoothly.
Responsibilities

  • Prepare ingredients and assist with cooking for hospitality, the team and events.
  • Support food production in the kitchen.
  • Follow food safety practices during preparation and cooking.
  • Work with colleagues to help the kitchen run effectively.
  • Assist with serving food when required.
  • Qualifications
  • Food preparation and cooking skills.
  • Food production experience.
  • Understanding of food safety.
  • Kitchen or culinary experience.
  • Preferred: hospitality or serving experience.
