Full job description

PR & Talent Manager
Location: Central London, on-site
Reporting to: Founder & CEO

About the role

We are looking for an exceptional PR & Talent Manager to work directly with the Founder & CEO across a group of ambitious businesses, mainly in AI and technology.

This is not a standard PR role, and it is not an Executive Assistant role either.

It sits somewhere between personal brand, PR, content, media, partnerships, events, relationship management and executive support.

You will help build, protect and grow the Founder’s profile, manage media and podcast relationships, secure speaking opportunities, support founder-led content, and make sure the Founder is focused on the right opportunities.

The right person will be highly organised, proactive, commercially aware and comfortable working in a fast-moving founder-led environment where priorities can change quickly.

The role

Working closely with the Founder & CEO, you will help shape and deliver a PR and personal brand strategy that positions both the Founder and the businesses at the front of their sectors.

You will build relationships with journalists, podcast hosts, event organisers, media outlets and industry figures, while making sure the Founder is consistently part of the right conversations.

Alongside this, you will provide high-level support across priorities, communications, opportunities, meetings and key relationships.

Key responsibilities

Personal brand and positioning

  • Develop and manage the Founder’s personal brand strategy.
  • Build clear themes around entrepreneurship, leadership, AI, technology, social care, recruitment and future trends.
  • Identify opportunities to grow visibility, credibility and influence.
  • Keep messaging consistent across LinkedIn, podcasts, newsletters, interviews, events and media.
  • Help shape content ideas, thought leadership themes and public positioning.

PR and media

  • Build and manage relationships with journalists, editors, producers and media contacts.
  • Secure coverage across relevant business, technology and entrepreneurial publications.
  • Create opportunities for interviews, commentary, features and opinion pieces.
  • Manage media requests and coordinate responses.
  • Work with PR agencies or partners where needed.

Target publications may include Forbes, Bloomberg, Financial Times, The Times, TechCrunch and similar.

Podcasts, events and speaking

  • Secure guest appearances on relevant podcasts.
  • Identify and coordinate speaking opportunities.
  • Build relationships with podcast hosts, conference organisers and event partners.
  • Prepare briefing notes, talking points and background research.
  • Manage logistics around appearances, interviews and events.

Founder-led content

  • Own and manage the Founder’s content strategy.
  • Support content across LinkedIn, podcasts, newsletters, interviews and video.
  • Draft and edit content in the Founder’s voice.
  • Work closely with internal content and production teams.
  • Track performance and improve content based on what is working.

Network and relationships

  • Build and maintain relationships with founders, investors, media contacts, influencers and strategic partners.
  • Track key relationships and make sure follow-up happens.
  • Coordinate introductions and networking opportunities.
  • Spot opportunities to expand the Founder’s network and influence.

Executive support

  • Manage calendar, meetings, travel and scheduling.
  • Help coordinate priorities across multiple businesses and projects.
  • Prepare briefing materials for meetings and events.
  • Manage inbound opportunities and requests.
  • Help keep the Founder focused on the highest-value work.

What we are looking for:

Essential experience

  • Experience in PR, communications, talent management, personal branding, executive support or a similar role.
  • Experience working with founders, CEOs, entrepreneurs or public figures.
  • Strong understanding of technology, startups and founder-led businesses.
  • A track record of securing media coverage, podcast appearances or speaking opportunities.
  • Experience building personal brands on LinkedIn and other professional platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisation and project management skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Highly desirable

  • Existing relationships with journalists, podcast hosts or media outlets.
  • Experience in AI, technology, venture-backed startups or founder-led businesses.
  • Experience supporting a high-profile founder, CEO or public figure.
  • Experience managing multiple brands, businesses or public profiles at once.
  • Good understanding of social media growth, audience building and thought leadership.

Personal attributes

You will need to be:

  • Highly organised and detail-focused.
  • Proactive and resourceful.
  • Commercially minded.
  • Calm under pressure.
  • Professional and discreet.
  • Confident working with senior people.
  • Strong strategically, but also willing to get stuck into the detail.
  • Curious about AI, technology, business and entrepreneurship.

Success looks like

Within the first 12 months:

  • The Founder’s profile and reach have grown significantly.
  • Strong media, podcast and event relationships have been built.
  • Coverage has been secured in relevant business and technology publications.
  • A repeatable PR and personal brand process is in place.
  • Podcast and speaking opportunities are being generated consistently.
  • The Founder is better supported, better prepared and focused on the right opportunities.
  • The businesses benefit from stronger visibility, credibility and strategic relationships.

This is a rare opportunity to work directly with a founder building ambitious businesses at the intersection of AI, technology and human potential, while helping shape a visible founder-led brand from the inside.

Pay: £50,000.00-£70,000.00 per year
