About The Role

Are you passionate about making a difference in people’s lives?
Do you want to be part of a caring, supportive, and dedicated team?

We’re looking for a Senior Care and Support Worker to join our supported living service in Horley, Surrey. We support adults with learning disabilities and complex needs to live independently within their own homes or with family.

This is a position for a female support worker who is caring , compassionate and reliable. You must have some understanding of supported living and knowledge of Epilepsy and manual handling.

Our support workers spend meaningful time with the people they support, helping them feel safe, comfortable, and valued. Building strong, trusting relationships is at the heart of what we do, as the connection between a client and their support worker is key to achieving positive outcomes.

This is a rewarding opportunity to empower individuals to live full, independent lives while receiving the care and accommodation they need within their local community.

As a Senior Care and Support Worker, you’ll:

• Work alongside a dedicated team to provide person-centred care and support.
  • Deliver personal care in line with individual care plans.

  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, families, and professionals.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality at all times.
  • Uphold safeguarding, health & safety, and organisational policies.
  • Take part in training, team meetings, and ongoing development.

What we’re looking for:

  • NVQ Level 2 in Care (or willingness to complete).
  • Ideally, 2+ years’ experience supporting adults with learning disabilities.
  • A caring, empathetic, and non-judgemental attitude.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • The ability to remain calm, cheerful, and professional in challenging situations.
  • Commitment to high standards and person-centred support.
  • Full Driving Licence and use of own vehicle

For female applicants only

Please note: This role is open to female applicants only. This is a genuine occupational requirement under Schedule 9, part 1 Equality Act 2010, due to the needs of the people we support.

We’re committed to keeping the people we support safe, so this role requires a satisfactory enhanced DBS and background checks.
We are an equal opportunities employer and value diversity within our workforce. Candidates must have the right to work in the UK, as sponsorship is not available for this role.
