Relief Manager - Scotland

£55,000 salary (dependent on experience)

Full Time/Permanent

Compass Associates is working with a leading Elderly care provider seeking an experienced Relief Manager to support residential, dementia, and specialist care homes in Scotland. This role is essential in ensuring continuity of care and maintaining high standards when a Home Manager is absent or during recruitment for a new one.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of a care home, ensuring the highest standards of care and resident wellbeing.
  • Lead and mentor a team, promoting a culture of professionalism and compassion.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
  • Ensure safety, quality, and operational targets are met.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a supervisory role within a care home environment.
  • S/NVQ4 qualification in Health & Social Care.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, person cantered care.
