Trainee Mortgage Adviser
Liverpool

Employed Role | Whole of Market | Training & Progression Provided

£27,500 Basic Salary + Commission

An established and reputable independent financial advice firm is seeking a Trainee Mortgage Adviser to join its growing team. The business is committed to delivering clear, tailored mortgage and financial guidance, with a strong emphasis on long-term client relationships, professionalism, and transparent advice.

This opportunity is ideal for someone at the early stages of their career who is looking to develop into a fully qualified Mortgage Adviser within a supportive, whole-of-market environment.

The Role

Working alongside experienced advisers, you will gain hands-on exposure to the full mortgage advice process while building the knowledge and skills required to progress, including:

  • Supporting cases from initial enquiry through to completion
  • Assisting with fact-finding, research, and preparation of recommendations
  • Developing an understanding of whole-of-market mortgage and protection advice
  • Supporting a range of cases including residential, buy-to-let, and remortgages
  • Maintaining accurate and compliant client records in line with regulatory requirements
  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients and introducers
  • Actively working towards becoming a fully competent and qualified adviser

What We’re Looking For

  • CeMAP (or equivalent) qualified, or actively working towards completion
  • Previous experience within financial services is beneficial but not essential
  • A genuine interest in developing a career in mortgage and protection advice
  • An understanding of regulatory standards and compliance expectations
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • A professional, client-focused approach with strong communication skills
