Full job description

We are seeking an experienced NIGHTSHIFT CNC TURNER to work within our rapidly expanding CNC team. We are looking for someone to have the skills to manufacture products for both our in house and sub-contract requirements.

HDL are a rapidly expanding business who have invested heavily in state-of-the-art equipment including our Index C100 and 2x G200 turn and mill centres, enabling us to be at the forefront of CNC design and manufacture. This is an excellent time to join the company as your experience can only help in the development of the business.

Responsibilities Include

· Competent in operating, setting and programming and setting a variety of CNC lathes, including twin spindle, multi-turret lathes and/or CNC mills, including 5-Axis.

· Ability to troubleshoot machinery issues

· Liaise and collaborate with other departments and implement solutions

· Keeping the workshop tidy and well organised

Key Requirements

· Working 4x 12hr Nightshifts (Monday - Thursday) per week

· Time served

· Reading Engineering Drawings

· Experienced working with mill-turn machines and multi-channel

· Experience with Siemens Sinumerik Preferred

· A logical approach to problem-solving

· Strong work ethic

· Able to keep multiple machines running

· Excellent communication with all levels of responsibility

· Experience of working within quality standards such as ISO 9001
