Job Title: IT Support Technician - Full Time

Location: Exeter, Honiton, Axminster

Drivers Licence: A full clean licence must be held with access to a car. Travel to Honiton, Exeter and Axminster will be required, our other offices should not be excluded.

The Role: WBW Solicitors is looking for an enthusiastic IT Technician to join a busy firm with their own in-house IT team. The successful candidate would be working alongside the IT Manager, assisting with first and second line helpdesk support for the firm’s 250+ users. The role will also have opportunities to assist in the day to day maintenance of the firm’s IT systems and infrastructure, liaising with suppliers and third line support organisations.

The Candidate: The successful applicant must have great communication skills, be able to assist quickly and efficiently, acknowledge when escalation is required and be able to work maturely within the team. There will be an expectation to work under the pressures of tight deadlines, work through repetitive tasks and identify new errors and issues being reported. The ability to diagnose faults and remedy solutions for the firms internal users will be required, although training will be provided.

Experience supporting a busy team, be personable, articulate, and enjoy working both in an individual role and as an integral part of the team will be essential.

Please note that due to the nature of the role, we can only accept candidates who hold a valid full UK driving licence.

Essential Knowledge and Skills required from the successful candidate:

· Administering Windows 10/11

· Basic knowledge of Windows Server and technologies from 2012 to current

· Helpdesk Experience in an office environment

· Administering Microsoft Office 365

· Knowledge of PC Hardware Maintenance/troubleshooting

· Experience of administering Microsoft Remote Desktop Services

· Basic Networking knowledge

· Excellent time management skill to prioritise workloads

Pay: From £26,000.00 per year
