AI Full-Stack Engineering Intern (Trading Systems / Web3, Mandarin Speaking)

ABOUT WES GROUP

WHAT WE ARE DOING

We are building core trading systems as well as on-chain asset issuance and trading products. As an intern, you will work on real scenarios, including market data, order processing, account management, wallet connectivity and on-chain transactions, with mentorship across frontend, backend and Web3 development.

Our team uses AI tools throughout development and hands suitable tasks to multiple agents running in parallel. You will learn how to review, integrate and validate their outputs.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Deliver well-scoped product features and engineering tasks, taking part in development, testing and bug fixing.

Use AI tools to understand existing codebases, break down tasks, help with implementation and write tests.

Try multi-agent parallel development with mentorship, for example running separate agents for feature logic, tests or code checks, then combining the results.

Work with senior engineers to understand how a feature flows from the UI and API down to the database or on-chain interactions.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Fluent Mandarin Chinese and English, spoken and written (required).

Working knowledge of at least one of TypeScript/JavaScript, Go or Rust, and the ability to build and run a small working project on your own.

A basic understanding of Git, HTTP/REST APIs and databases, and keenness to learn full-stack development.

Basic familiarity with smart contracts or Web3. Coursework, hobby projects and personal repos all count.

Experience using AI coding assistants, and the ability to explain the code they generate and check it by running it and testing it.

Awareness of multi-agent workflows, or willingness to learn them. Experience on large projects is not required.

Curiosity about existing code, proactive communication and close attention to detail and testing.

The role starts with a 1–2 month trial period.

After a successful trial, you move into a salaried, long-term position.

You will get hands-on experience with real trading and Web3 products, with mentorship and AI-native engineering practice.

Recent graduates are especially welcome.

LOCATION & START DATE

On-site at our London office.

Immediate start preferred; the successful candidate must be able to start by 2 November 2026.
