Full job description

The Exhibitionist Hotel has been the hotel leader in style, chic and cool in Kensington.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, hardworking, and motivated Receptionist on a full-time basis with a positive can-do attitude, friendly personality when dealing with customers and genuinely enjoy working as part of a team.

This position requires flexibility including weekend availability. This role will require the ability to work across all departments.

Purpose of Position:

To be totally customer focused by consistently delivering excellent customer service with an informed, friendly, and effective approach.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Welcoming and greeting guests in accordance with SOPs.

· Check-in and check-out guest's accordance with company standards.

· Provide keys, show guests to room, and deliver luggage as required.

· Provide excellent customer service.

· To communicate any enquiries to the relevant department in a timely manner, ensuring that all information is correct.

· Taking care of Room Service Orders, based on a basic Night Menu, including Food and Drinks.

· Being responsible for the Fire Safety at the Hotel at Night.

· Organising the daily linen deliveries of the Hotel.

· Deal with all calls and emails efficiently and effectively.

· Deal effectively with all queries relating to your shift as required.

· To respond to any telephone or email reservations enquiries and ensuring that all queries are responded to in a timely and professional manner.

· Making reservations and take payments for future bookings.

· Basic cleaning duties in the public areas.

· Ensuring billing is correctly carried out to the hotel standards.

· To assist other departments if required with basic tasks.

· Basic Cleaning Duties

· Participate with training and coaching of team members as required.

· Attend training when required.

· To be fully aware of and strictly adhere to Health and Safety, fire, and security procedures.

Requirements

· One year’s reception experience - hotel-based environment preferred but not essential as full training will be provided

· Good communication skills

· Must have good customer service experience.

· Be self-motivated and a team player.

· Must be prompt and reliable.

· Be flexible with regards to working hours and be available for weekend work
