Concrete Pump Engineer

Job Type: Full-time
Location: Bicester, Oxfordshire (with occasional travel to customer sites)

About the Role

A leading specialist in the supply, servicing, and maintenance of concrete equipment is seeking an experienced Concrete Pump Engineer to join its busy engineering team based in Bicester.

This is a hands-on position responsible for the servicing, maintenance, inspection, and repair of a wide range of concrete pumps and associated equipment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring equipment remains safe, reliable, and operational for customers across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on truck-mounted and static concrete pumps
  • Complete routine servicing, inspections, and preventative maintenance
  • Prepare, inspect, and test equipment prior to delivery or dispatch
  • Attend customer site breakdowns and carry out emergency repairs when required
  • Maintain accurate service records and job documentation
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety requirements
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver a high standard of customer service

Requirements

  • Previous experience working with concrete pumps, hydraulics, heavy plant, construction equipment, or similar machinery
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Good mechanical and electrical knowledge
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A proactive and safety-conscious approach to work
