Location: Nationwide (with nights away from home)

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Service Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for managing your own diary, providing national coverage, and undertaking remedial works to ensure the smooth operation of our products and services. This role requires excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diary Management: Independently manage your schedule to efficiently prioritize and complete service tasks across various locations nationwide.
  • National Coverage: Travel to different sites as required, with occasional nights away from home to fulfil service obligations.
  • Remedial Works: Identify and execute remedial actions to address technical issues and ensure optimal performance of our products and systems.
  • Report Completion: Accurately document service activities, including observations, actions taken, and recommendations for further improvements. Submit comprehensive reports in a timely manner.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with fitting crews and internal colleagues to coordinate service activities, share insights, and contribute to ongoing product development and enhancement efforts.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Service Engineer or similar role, with a strong background in technical problem-solving.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and occasionally stay overnight away from home as required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues, coupled with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
