About Us

Calder Windows Ltd is a successful, well-established family-run business specialising in uPVC windows, doors, conservatories and warm roof installations throughout West Yorkshire.

Established in 2005, we have built an excellent reputation for quality workmanship and outstanding customer service.

Due to our continued success, we are looking for an experienced, reliable and skilled self-employed Service Engineer to work with our busy team.

The Role

We are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced individual to carry out servicing, repairs and maintenance on uPVC windows and doors across West Yorkshire.

You must be confident diagnosing faults, working independently and providing a high standard of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair faults with uPVC windows and doors.
  • Adjust and replace hinges, handles, locks and locking mechanisms.
  • Carry out door realignment and general adjustments.
  • Replace failed sealed glass units and undertake glazing repairs.
  • Investigate and resolve draughts, leaks and operational issues.
  • Attend warranty and aftercare service appointments.
  • Complete repairs efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous manner when visiting customers’ homes.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in uPVC window and door servicing and repairs is essential.
  • Excellent technical knowledge and fault-finding skills.
  • Ability to work independently and solve problems efficiently.
  • High standards of workmanship and attention to detail.
  • Reliable, professional and customer-focused approach.
  • Full UK driving licence.
