Overview

Norfolk Broads Exteriors is looking for a reliable and hardworking Labourer to join our installation team. The role involves assisting experienced installers with the replacement of windows and doors, EPDM roofing installations, conservatory improvements, and other home improvement projects across Norfolk and the surrounding areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience within the home improvements industry and develop practical skills on a wide range of installations.

You will support installation work on site, helping the fitting team prepare materials, handle tools and complete tasks safely and accurately. You will follow instructions, keep work areas organised and communicate clearly with colleagues as jobs progress.

Responsibilities

• Assisting installers with window and door replacements
• Assisting with EPDM flat roof installations
• Loading and unloading materials and equipment
• Keeping work areas clean, organised and safe
• Assisting with measuring, lifting and preparing materials
• Removing and disposing of existing building materials
• Maintaining a professional and courteous manner with customers

Essential Requirements

• Self-employed and responsible for your own tax affairs
• Reliable, punctual and hard-working
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual labour
• Ability to travel to and from our business address each working day
• Good attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Right to work in the UK

Desirable (but not essential)

• Previous experience within construction, roofing, fenestration, fitting or general building work
• Full UK driving licence
• Experience using hand and power tools
