Kings Acre Golf Course is a family-owned, welcoming, and professionally run golf facility located on the outskirts of Edinburgh. We take pride in delivering an exceptional experience to every golfer - from beginners picking up a club for the first time to long-standing members competing in club competitions.

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable Bar/Waiting Staff to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a customer-focused environment and being part of a friendly, supportive team.

About Kings Acre Golf Course

Established in June 1997 by the King family and designed by Graham Webster, Kings Acre is an 18-hole parkland course featuring water hazards, over 50 bunkers, and large undulating greens.

In addition to our golf facilities, we offer a well-appointed clubhouse with a restaurant that includes a bright conservatory, comfortable lounge, traditional spikes bar, and a function room. These spaces are regularly used for dining, social gatherings, weddings, and events, creating a varied and engaging working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing excellent service to customers and members
• Serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages at the bar
• Taking orders and serving food and drinks
• Clearing and resetting tables
• Handling cash and card payments
• Supporting events such as weddings, functions, and visiting golf parties

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in bar service or waitressing is advantageous
• Applicants must be aged 18 or over
• A positive, friendly, and professional attitude
• Strong customer service skills
• Reliability and willingness to work as part of a team
