Our client, SGS Windows, is a trusted and Checkatrade-approved installer of premium uPVC windows, doors, conservatories and glazing solutions. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Window & Door Surveyor to join their team and play a vital role in ensuring every installation starts with accuracy, professionalism and outstanding customer service.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-focused, self-employed professional who takes pride in delivering precise measurements and a first-class customer experience.

As the business continues to expand, there is a genuine opportunity for the successful candidate to progress into an Operations Manager position, taking on greater responsibility across installations, operational delivery and day-to-day business activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed site surveys following confirmed sales
• Take accurate measurements for windows, doors and conservatories
• Assess site access, installation requirements and any potential challenges
• Confirm product specifications prior to manufacture
• Complete and submit survey documentation accurately and promptly
• Liaise effectively with office teams and installation crews
• Deliver a professional, friendly and customer-focused service at every appointment

Requirements

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience surveying windows and doors
• Strong knowledge of uPVC and aluminium products
• Excellent attention to detail
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Experience surveying conservatories
• Familiarity with industry surveying software and systems
• Previous experience coordinating installations, fitters or operational workloads
• Leadership or team management experience

Pay

• £50 per completed standard survey
• £100 per completed survey for larger orders
