Our The BIG Trade Counter branch in Barton (Bedford) which is part of the GJB Group covering several locations, is now looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Warehouse Operative/Driver to join their busy team.

Day to day responsibilities:

• Driving and delivering goods to our customers
• Loading and unloading the vehicle
• Picking orders
• General warehouse duties
• Serving customers
• Book deliveries for customers
• Checking and sorting of incoming deliveries- windows, glass, building plastics etc.
• Chase/follow up any missing items
• Quality control checks on outgoing deliveries
• Keep the yard clean and tidy

Skills/Qualities required:

• Good communication/customer service
• Manual handling experience
• Team player
• Shows initiative
• Previous warehouse background
• Forklift license preferred but not essential
• Full UK Driver’s license required

**Due to the position involving driving a van, to apply you must be 25 or over for the company car insurance purposes.**

Hours: 7:00am - 4:00pm Monday to Friday (1-hour break)
