Installation Supervisor - the role

We are looking for an installation supervisor with glazing experience to liaise with our contracts manager and delivery drivers to co-ordinate installation activities with principal site contractors, whilst ensuring that all work is carried out within the contractor's on site rules and maintaining a compliant, safe working environment.

This is a hands-on, mainly site-based role travelling to site throughout the UK from our central manufacturing facility in Dewsbury, supervising and developing a team of more junior operatives. It may suit someone who has experience of installing domestic uPVC conservatories.

Main duties

• load and unload materials
• deliver glazing materials to client sites at different locations
• manage time efficiently, including efficient route planning
• keep vehicle clean, inside and out
• ensure tidy work area
• wear appropriate PPE
• work in a safe and professional manner
• undertake task briefings and tool box talks
• work to approved contract drawings
• ensure correct installation of glazing systems, completing work to the highest possible standards
• carry out tasks in accordance with instruction from contracts manager
• work within site rules at all times
• liaise with site manager to ensure signing off sheet is completed
• maintain time sheet

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
