Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Surveyor to join our team in the windows and doors industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out precise site surveys, ensuring all measurements and technical details are correct prior to manufacture and installation. The role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and a keen eye for detail to guarantee a smooth installation process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site surveys at customer properties for windows, doors, and conservatories.
  • Take accurate measurements and produce detailed survey reports for manufacturing and installation teams.
  • Identify and flag potential installation issues or risks on-site and provide practical solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with building regulations, health & safety, and company standards.
  • Liaise with customers to explain processes, answer technical questions, and confirm specifications.
  • Work closely with sales, operations, and fitting teams to ensure smooth workflow from order to completion.
  • Maintain accurate records of surveys, drawings, and sign-off documentation.
  • Keep up to date with industry best practices, product developments, and regulations.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Previous experience as a Surveyor within the windows, doors, or fenestration industry (essential).
  • Strong technical knowledge of uPVC, aluminium, and timber windows/doors.
  • Excellent attention to detail and high accuracy in measurements.
  • Ability to read and produce technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
  • Good problem-solving ability with a proactive approach.
  • IT literacy (Microsoft Office, CRM/Surveying software).
  • Full UK driving licence.
