Experienced Window Fitter vacancy- Bidford on Avon, Warwickshire.

Would you like to work for a family run company with a great reputation, local work with competitive rates of pay?

We are looking for an experienced skilled window fitter to join our team to fit windows, doors & conservatories.

This is a hands on role. We are looking for somebody with the ability to work to high standards with good attention to detail who is proud to do a good job. We expect you to be punctual and reliable. Good people skills and a professional approach to the job.

Nearly all of our work is through recommendations so doing the job properly first time is essential. Most of the work is replacing windows/doors in peoples houses with occasional new build work for private builders.

MTC card preferred. Clean driving license required.

Salary negotiable depending on experience. Self employed basis (CIS). Public Liability insurance required.

FULL TIME: 5 days a week.

Monday-Friday 7:45am-4:45pm.

We are an established family run business (trading over 30 years) with a very good local reputation which means most of our jobs are local to our Bidford on Avon base, so typically there isn't much travelling.

JOB SUMMARY:

Work to the company's methods installing mainly replacement windows and doors in peoples houses and occasional commercial properties, working with PVC and aluminium systems.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Be professional and respectful on site. Use dust sheets to keep properties clean.

Check sizes on site against survey before starting. Make any adjustments necessary to ensure windows/doors fit properly.

Remove old windows & doors carefully & professionally.

Fit new windows/doors to a high standard, carry and install double glazed units.

Clean & finish to a high standard.

Carry out any minor repairs to joinery and plaster work.

Adjust products if necessary and show customer how products work.

Leave site clean & tidy.

Work safely and to a set schedule.

Keep van organised & tidy.
