Full job description

Based in Lincoln, Tradeglaze is a growing, award-winning manufacturer and installer of bespoke windows and doors. We work with trade, commercial, and domestic customers across the Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, and South Yorkshire regions to supply innovative high-end glazing solutions.

Due to continued growth and an increased workload, we are looking for a Trainee Fitter or Fitters Mate to join our Installations Department. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to develop their skills in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

You'll work alongside our experienced installation teams, learning to fit windows, doors and conservatories across Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and South Yorkshire. We make our products in-house and our order book is strong, so you'll have steady, full-time work while you learn.

What you'll do

  • Assist fitters with the installation of windows, doors and conservatories.
  • Load, unload and carry materials safely.
  • Keep the work area clean and organised.
  • Always Work to Health and Safety standards.
  • Treat customers politely and respectfully.
  • Build the skills to move up to fitter.

What we're looking for

  • A willingness to learn and take instruction.
  • Reliability and good timekeeping.
  • Physical fitness, as the work involves lifting and carrying.
  • A full driving licence is desirable / essential.
  • Any construction, labouring or trade experience is a bonus, but not required.

What we offer

  • Full-time work based from our Lincoln depot, with a 7.00 am start. Most jobs are within 30 miles of the depot, although occasional travel further afield may be required.

Pay: From £12.71 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
