Prime Glazing UK Ltd – North West / North Wales

Pay: £25,000–£50,000 per year
Competitive day rate dependent on experience
Self-employed only | Full-time

Prime Glazing UK Ltd are looking for an experienced, reliable and hardworking fitter to join our growing team, installing windows, doors and conservatories at domestic properties & commercial premises across the North West and North Wales.

Several years of hands-on experience fitting windows, doors and conservatories is essential. You must be confident carrying out installations to a high standard, taking pride in your workmanship and providing a professional service to our customers.

Main Responsibilities

  • Removing existing windows, doors and conservatory frames safely and carefully.
  • Installing uPVC and aluminium windows and doors.
  • Fitting composite doors, French doors, sliding patio doors and bifold doors.
  • Carrying out conservatory installations, including frames, glazing and roofing systems.
  • Ensuring all installations are correctly aligned, secured, glazed and weatherproofed.
  • Completing trims, sealing and making good around installations to a high standard.
  • Protecting customers’ properties and keeping work areas clean and tidy.
  • Loading, unloading and handling frames, glass and installation materials safely.
  • Working efficiently with other fitters to complete installations within agreed timescales.
  • Removing waste and leaving each property clean on completion.

Essential Requirements

  • Several years of proven experience fitting windows, doors and conservatories.
  • Strong practical knowledge of installation methods, glazing systems and fixing techniques.
  • Ability to carry out installations confidently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of finishing.
  • Professional, polite manner when dealing with customers.
  • Reliability, punctuality and a positive approach to work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a fitting team.

Full UK driving licence preferred.
