Uncapped commission, paid weekly.
Working Monday to Friday 9.30am - 3.30pm in various locations.

Join our friendly team at SolarFrame; Yorkshire’s experts in all things home improvement!

We need to promote our windows, doors, conservatory roof replacements and single-storey extensions to the homeowners of Yorkshire, and that’s where you come in!

We are looking for an enthusiastic canvasser to talk to the public about our products. As a canvasser, you will be responsible for approaching people at their home (on the doorstep), and telling them about our products. If they are interested, they’ll give you their personal details for a follow up call. If they are not interested right now, at least you’ll leave them better informed and with a good impression of you, the experience and the company.

The safety of our canvassers is paramount, so you will never be canvassing alone. You will work in a team of two and will always have a team leader in close proximity.

A great Canvasser is someone who can build rapport quickly and relate to people face-to-face and promote the company products without coming across as pushy. Previous experience would be an advantage however full training will be provided. This is a hybrid role of telesales and door canvassing, allowing for inclement weather conditions.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating your own sales pitch from the training given - reciting it naturally as required
  • Driving (or being driven) to canvassing locations
  • Displaying knowledge of our products and our company and attempting to influence or change opinion
  • Obtaining personal information for follow up sales calls, emails and texts (accurate and compliant data capture and data handling)
  • Answering questions about the company product, or objection handling
  • Maintaining a professional appearance
  • Representing the company positively at all times.

Requirements:

  • Friendly, confident persona
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Well presented
  • Ability to work outdoors and stand for long periods
  • Drivers preferred but not essential.
  • Candidates for this role will be subject to a basic DBS check
