Production Operative

£12.71 per hour | Permanent | Full-Time | 44 Hours per Week or 40 Hours per week

Future Products Ltd is currently recruiting Production Operatives on our uPVC frames Line, Door line and glass line department to join our growing manufacturing team. We are looking for motivated, reliable, and flexible individuals who are committed to contributing to the efficient, safe, and effective operation of our production departments.

About the Role

As a Production Operative, you will play a key role in the manufacturing process, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Your duties may include:

  • Machining
  • Glazing
  • Paint preparation
  • Painting
  • Pressing
  • Final processing
  • Quality inspections
  • Wrapping and packing finished products

You will initially be trained in one area of the business before progressing to multi-skilled training across various departments.

Essential Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience within the window and door manufacturing industry (essential)
  • A strong commitment to health and safety procedures
  • A positive, flexible, and proactive attitude
  • A willingness to learn new skills and undertake cross-training
  • Excellent reliability, attendance, and timekeeping
  • Strong attention to detail
  • The ability to undertake heavy lifting and manual handling duties, which are essential requirements of the role

Desirable

  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Forklift Truck (FLT) Licence

Working Hours

Shift Pattern - 44 hours per week

  • Monday to Thursday: 7:00am - 4:30pm
  • Friday: 7:00am - 3:30pm
  • No weekend working

Shift Pattern - 40 hours per week

  • Monday to Friday: 6:00am - 2:00pm
  • No weekend working
