Full job description
About us
Thames Frames is a growing local home-improvement company. We supply and install windows, doors, garage doors and conservatories across Wiltshire, Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire. We're expanding our field team and looking for friendly, reliable people to introduce us to homeowners.
The role
This is a self-employed position. You'll visit homes in selected neighbourhoods, have a friendly, no-pressure chat with homeowners about their windows and doors, and book appointments for one of our surveyors. You won't be selling. Your job is to start the conversation and arrange the visit.
- Work streets planned in advance using our area data
- Book surveyor appointments at the door
- Record visits and outcomes on our simple system
- Follow our code of conduct for respectful, compliant doorstep work
Pay
- Guaranteed weekly basic of £254.20 (20 hours at £12.71 per hour)
- £20 for every appointment that's sat
- Plus a bonus on sales
What we offer
- A guaranteed weekly basic, so you're not working on commission alone
- Weekday daytime work, with no evenings or weekends
- Full training: how to approach doors, what to say and how to handle questions
- Branded clothing and ID badge provided
- Real earning potential and progression for the right people
About you
- Confident, polite and comfortable talking to people
- Self-motivated and reliable, happy working outdoors in all weathers
- No sales experience needed, because full training is provided
- Happy to work on a self-employed basis (you'll invoice us and manage your own tax and NI)
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is desirable, as our areas are spread across the region
This role suits anyone looking for flexible daytime work that fits around other commitments.
To apply, click Apply with your CV or a few lines about yourself, and we'll call you for an informal chat.
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 per week
Work Location: In person
