About Sheerwater Glass:
Sheerwater Glass is a well-established company in the window, door, and conservatory industry, known for its high standards and reliable service. We have been operating in Woking for nearly 50 years, serving a diverse range of clients including letting agencies, schools, and garden centers.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a multi-skilled tradesperson to join our small works team. This role requires a broad skill set in servicing, maintaining, and installing UPVC and Aluminium windows, doors, and conservatory roofs. The ideal candidate will be a versatile tradesperson, capable of handling a variety of tasks to meet our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service, adjust, and maintain UPVC and Aluminium windows, doors, and conservatory roofs.
  • Complete installations of replacement double-glazed units (DGUs) and perform repairs.
  • Service and replace window and door locking mechanisms, including hinges.
  • Carry out detailed surveys and identify the necessary repairs and parts.
  • Ensure high-quality customer service and maintain strong communication with clients and the team.
  • Manage a clean and organized work environment on-site.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the window and door industry, demonstrating a broad range of skills in glazing and general trades.
  • GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths.
  • Fluent English, both spoken and written, with excellent communication skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and a customer-first approach.
  • Full UK driving licence.
