Full job description

Job Summary

As a General Labourer, you will support practical outdoor and site-based work, helping keep grounds, equipment and work areas in good order. You will assist with landscape maintenance, gardening, groundskeeping and general maintenance, following instructions and working carefully around tools and machinery.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out groundskeeping, gardening and horticultural tasks, including supporting irrigation and landscape maintenance.
  • Use hand tools and power tools safely for routine maintenance and construction tasks.
  • Assist with excavator-related work as directed, keeping work areas tidy and reporting equipment concerns.
  • Your impact: Well-maintained grounds and organised work areas help colleagues complete tasks safely and efficiently.

Skills

Required: Practical ability to follow instructions, work safely with hand tools and power tools, and carry out general maintenance and groundskeeping tasks. Care, reliability and attention to the condition of tools and work areas are important.
Preferred: Construction experience, mechanical knowledge, and familiarity with excavators, irrigation, gardening, horticulture or landscape maintenance will help you contribute across a wider range of duties.

Pay: £16.00-£19.00 per hour
