Full job description

Architectural Technician

Duties:

- Collaborate with architects and other professionals to develop architectural designs and plans.
- Assist in the preparation of detailed drawings, models, and specifications.
- Conduct site visits to gather information and assess project feasibility.
- Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create and modify architectural designs using REVIT.
- Prepare construction documents, including drawings, schedules, and specifications.
- Review and analyse building regulations, and standards to ensure compliance.
- Assist in the coordination of project activities with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Conduct research on materials, products, and construction techniques to support design decisions.

Qualifications:

- HNC or Bachelor's degree in architectural technology or a related field desirable.
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, and MUST including Revit.
- Strong knowledge of architectural principles and building codes.

- Experienced at working on modular building design
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in design work.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively.
- Knowledge of sustainable design practices is a plus.
- Experience with graphic design software is a plus.
