Experienced Roofer – Doncaster

£34,000–£38,000 + Overtime + £25 Per Night Away + Company Van

Permanent employed position | Hotel paid | Meal allowance

Evermax Ltd are looking for experienced roofers to join our growing family-run team.

Based in Doncaster, we carry out roofing repairs, maintenance, refurbishment and replacement projects across the UK.

You may come from a commercial or domestic roofing background. What matters to us is that you are a genuinely experienced, practical roofer who takes pride in doing a good job. If you have solid domestic roofing experience and are looking to move into commercial work, we would be happy to consider you.

This is a permanent, full-time position with steady year-round work, overtime available and intermittent nights away depending on where the work is located.

The work

Our projects are varied and include commercial sites such as pubs, supermarkets, retail premises, schools and other public and private sector buildings.

The work includes:

  • Roof repairs and leak investigations
  • Planned maintenance
  • Flat roofing and felt systems
  • Slating and tiling
  • Liquid roofing systems
  • Roof refurbishment and replacement
  • General roofing maintenance and repairs

We don't expect you to be an expert in every roofing system.

If you have strong experience in certain areas of roofing, that's fine. We can provide training and support to help you develop your skills in other systems and adapt to commercial roofing work where required.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has at least 3 years' solid roofing experience
  • Has strong practical roofing skills
  • Can work independently and as part of a team
  • Takes pride in their workmanship
  • Is reliable, hardworking and has a good attitude
  • Is comfortable working at height
  • Has a full UK driving licence
  • Is willing to travel and stay away from home when required

Commercial roofing experience is beneficial but not essential. We will consider applicants from a strong domestic roofing background who have the right experience, attitude and willingness to learn.

The hours

45 hours per week, 5 days per week, with overtime available.

Occasional weekend on a rota is required.

Staying away is intermittent, depending on where the work is located.

Established roofing pairs are also welcome to apply.
