Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Painter to join our team. The role involves working on social housing projects where we are replacing kitchens and bathrooms in mainly occupied properties. This role requires attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
  • Apply paints, varnishes, stains, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
  • Follow project specifications and safety guidelines to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to complete tasks on schedule.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good condition and report any repairs needed promptly.
  • Ensure work areas are kept clean and organised throughout the project duration.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress or issues.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in construction painting or related trades is preferred.
  • Valid driving licence is essential
  • Good command of English language for clear communication on-site.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Physical fitness to perform manual tasks .

Pay: £180.00 per day
