Full job description
We are looking for an enthusiastic person to step into the b5 administrative role to support the psychological professions within the Royal Free London NHS Trust. You will be based at the Royal Free Hospital and provide dedicated support to the lead and senior consultant psychologists. You will operate with significant autonomy and expected to manage complex diaries, handle sensitive information and act as a key liaison between the lead psychologist, senior staff in the organisation and external agencies.
You will have proven experience working as a senior secretary or admin role, with exposure to director level. The role requires advanced working knowledge of Microsoft packages and the ability to pick up NHS-specific databased quickly. We welcome a professional, calm manner under pressure, excellent communication skills and absolute discretion regarding confidentiality.
You will be providing business, secretarial and administration support in all aspects of the Lead for the Psychological Professions (ACS) and facilitating the smooth running on a day-to-day basis. This will involved proactively managing complex electronic diaries, arranging meetings, longer-term planning and coordination of work requirements, recruitment process for new staff, data collection and management to support compliance and inform improvements, financial administration. Familiarity with NHS systems that support business functions is important as well as producing reports and presentation materials.
