Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Front of House Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service in a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring smooth service, and supporting the overall guest experience. Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality is advantageous, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued. This position is paid and suitable for individuals seeking part-time or full-time employment.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
  • Serve food and drinks in accordance with health and safety standards
  • Prepare simple food items and beverages, including barista-style coffee if applicable
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area
  • Handle customer enquiries professionally, resolving any issues promptly
  • Support baristas or kitchen staff during busy periods as needed
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
  • Assist in setting up tables for events or special occasions
  • Process payments accurately using the POS system

Skills

  • Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality environments is desirable
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly demeanour
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
  • Experience with food preparation or barista duties is a plus
  • Organised with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work flexibly across various shifts, including evenings and weekends if required
