Kelly Group are seeking dedicated and ambitious Fibre Engineers to join our dynamic team working on one of our fibre installation contracts. This role involves installing Fibre in customers properties on behalf of the leading telecoms companies in the UK.

The position requires working at heights, performing outdoor tasks in varying weather conditions, and undertaking physically demanding activities. Key aspects of the fibre engineer’s role is -

Work at Heights:

  • Safely work on ladders, poles, and elevated platforms to install fibre.
  • Follow strict health and safety protocols when working at heights or in challenging environments.

Outdoor and Physical Requirements:

  • Perform tasks in outdoor environments, including urban, rural, and construction sites, often under varying weather conditions all year round.
  • Handle and carry heavy equipment and tools required for fibre installation and maintenance over a distance.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, when required.

Customer Interaction:

  • Provide world class service with customers to ensure a smooth installation or repair process.
  • Provide accurate information and advice regarding network issues or upgrades.

Problem-Solving:

  • Diagnose issues in fibre networks and implement effective solutions.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to address complex technical challenges.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Full UK manual license held for a minimum of 12 months. (no more than 6 points and no drug or drink driving bans)
  • Be able to provide a clean drugs test upon request.
  • Worked in a physically demanding role or be able to demonstrate this in your personal life.

Full training can be provided for the right candidate with the above skillset.
