Repairs & Maintenance Supervisors and Projects Supervisors – multiple roles across Cornwall
Are you ready to take ownership of repairs, maintenance and planned works on site, ensuring they are delivered safely and right first time? Do you have the drive and passion to manage your workload, support contractors and deliver a high-quality service to our residents?
We’re looking for experienced property maintenance professionals to deliver high-quality repairs, maintenance and project work across our homes and communities.
We have multiple opportunities available across Cornwall (North East, South East and West) within both Maintenance and Projects. Please indicate your preferred role(s) and location(s) as part of your application.
If you want to make a real impact, work positively with others and help shape better outcomes for local people, this could be the perfect next step. Join us to create safe homes in strong communities for one and all!
About the role
You’ll deliver a customer-focused, right-first-time service, managing a varied caseload of repairs, maintenance or planned project works within your locality.
Working closely with contractors and colleagues, you’ll oversee works on site, carry out inspections and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to a high standard. You’ll take ownership of jobs from instruction through to completion, maintaining accurate records and ensuring residents are kept informed throughout.
This is a hands-on, operational role where you’ll support contractor performance, resolve issues and contribute to continuous service improvement, with a strong focus on quality, safety and customer outcomes.
Cornwall Housing is evolving to better meet the needs of the people and communities we serve. Our values of Collaboration, Honesty and Learning are central to this, helping us stay focused on doing the right things in the right way. These values guide how we work openly, take responsibility and keep improving the way we deliver our services. By bringing our teams closer to our customers and strengthening our local presence, we’re building a more responsive and supportive organisation.
About you
To be successful, you’ll be/have:
· Experience in property maintenance or building surveying, ideally within social housing or a similar environment
· Experience managing a varied and complex caseload, from initial assessment through to completion
· Strong knowledge of repairs, maintenance or planned works, with the ability to oversee contractor delivery
· Experience working with contractors to deliver works safely, on time and to quality standards
· Strong communication and customer engagement skills, with experience resolving queries and complaints
· Good organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
· Good understanding of health & safety, CDM and relevant legislation
