Morley Hayes is an award-winning hospitality destination renowned for delivering exceptional experiences across our hotel, restaurants, golf facilities and events. We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Functions Delivery Manager to lead our busy Functions department and play a key role in delivering outstanding events for our guests.

This is a hands-on management role requiring strong leadership, excellent organisational skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. From weddings and celebrations to corporate events, you will take ownership of the successful delivery of our functions whilst leading and developing the team around you.

The role will include:

  • Leading and developing the Functions team.
  • Overseeing the successful delivery of weddings, events and functions.
  • Working closely with the Directors, Head Chef, Events Team and wider business.
  • Attending management and HACCP meetings and providing reports and updates as required.
  • Managing staffing levels and departmental performance.
  • Acting as Master of Ceremonies where appropriate.
  • Maintaining exceptional customer service and operational standards.
  • Opening, closing and securing areas of the business when required.

What we're looking for:

  • Previous management experience within hospitality, events or a similar customer-focused environment.
  • Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills.
  • A proactive and flexible approach to work.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining exceptionally high standards.
  • A willingness to support the operational needs of the business during busy periods.
  • A Personal Licence or a willingness to undertake the required training to obtain one (training and support will be provided where appropriate).

Salary and hours are negotiable and will reflect experience and business requirements. Due to the nature of the hospitality industry, flexibility is essential and additional hours may be required during busy periods, including from Mid-November, December, Christmas and New Year, to ensure the successful delivery of our events programme.
