Job Title: Corporate Student Accommodation Security Officer, Front of House
Pay Rate: £12.71 ph (During Probation)
Shift Pattern: 12 Hours Shifts 4 on 4 off, Nights and Weekends (42hrs per week avg).

Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Security Officer to join our front of house security team based in Norwich. Working in a stand-alone role you will be the first point of contact for all visits and tenants to the property ensuring the delivery of excellent customer service at all times.

Main Duties:

· Protect company property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment.

· Meet and greet visitors and students in a polite and customer focused manner.

· Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances.

· Produce accurate and timely incident reports.

· Report in detail any suspicious incidents or occurrences.

· Complete internal/external patrols using an electronic guard patrol system.

· Monitor and control access for building entrances.

· Observe and react to fire alarms and CCTV systems.

· Respond to emergency situations & Fire evacuations.

· Ensure Health & Safety is adhered to and issues are reported accordingly.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

Willing to work nights and weekends in line with the roster.

· Have previous experience in a corporate customer facing environment.

· Have right to work in the UK.

· Hold an SIA licence SG/DS.

· Live within a short commutable distance from the site location.

· Reliable with excellent time-management skills are key to this role.

· Smart appearance, well-groomed and confident.

· Excellent communication & administration skills.

· Willingness to attend company training courses (fire marshal).

· Must have full comprehensive 5-year work/education history; including full company names, addresses and landline contact numbers/email addresses.
