About MPW Security Solutions

MPW Security Solutions is a growing, family-run security company providing high-quality security services throughout the UK. From manned guarding and concierge services to mobile patrols, CCTV solutions and vacant property inspections, we pride ourselves on delivering an exceptional service to every client.

We have ambitious plans to continue growing over the next few years and are looking for an Operations Executive who shares our commitment to quality, continuous improvement and excellent customer service.

Although we take our work seriously, we're a close-knit team who genuinely enjoy working together. You'll have the opportunity to influence how the business develops, contribute ideas, and play a key role in shaping our future.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and wants to become an integral part of a growing business.

You will work closely with the Directors to help oversee the day-to-day running of the company while also contributing to long-term strategic planning. The role combines operational management, quality assurance, customer service, supply chain management and business improvement.

No two days are the same. One day you may be analysing KPIs and implementing new procedures, while the next you could be assisting with a new contract mobilisation or helping prepare for an ISO audit.

This role offers genuine progression opportunities for the right individual.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day operational management of the business.
  • Help implement the company's long-term growth strategy.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, profitability and service delivery.
  • Monitor operational performance and analyse KPIs.
  • Manage supplier relationships and ensure service standards are maintained.
  • Build strong relationships with clients to maximise customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Investigate service issues and implement corrective actions where required.
  • Assist with the mobilisation of new contracts.
  • Help develop and improve company procedures and operational processes.
  • Assist with ISO 9001 Quality Management and other company audits.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, legislation and industry standards.
  • Produce management reports and operational analysis.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding and staff development where required.
  • Work closely with senior management on business planning and strategic decisions.
  • Take ownership of improvement projects from planning through to implementation.
  • Promote a culture of professionalism, accountability and continuous improvement.

Essential Experience

  • Previous experience in an operations role.
  • Experience working within an ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
  • Experience contributing to business development or organisational growth.
  • Strong understanding of how businesses operate.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience within the security industry.
  • Experience working with ACS or other recognised management standards.
  • Experience managing suppliers or subcontractors.
  • Experience analysing KPIs and producing management reports.
  • Experience leading projects or implementing business improvements.

Personal Qualities

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Highly motivated with an excellent work ethic.
  • Reliable, punctual and professional.
  • Commercially aware and business minded.
  • A confident problem solver.
  • Able to think strategically while remaining hands-on.
  • Resilient under pressure.
  • Positive, approachable and a strong team player.
  • Comfortable taking ownership and making decisions.
  • Passionate about continuous improvement.
  • Able to build positive relationships with both clients and colleagues.
  • Committed to maintaining exceptionally high standards.

What We Offer

  • £30,000–£40,000 starting salary depending on experience.
  • Performance-related bonus opportunities.
  • Genuine career progression as the company continues to grow.
  • Ongoing training and professional development.
  • Opportunity to broaden your skills across all areas of business management.
  • Friendly, supportive and collaborative working environment.
  • Company events.
  • Sick pay.
  • Free on-site parking.
  • A people-focused workplace where your ideas genuinely matter.

Why Join MPW?

We're looking for someone who wants more than just a job.

At MPW, you'll have the opportunity to influence the direction of a growing business, work directly alongside experienced Directors, and develop skills across operations, strategy, quality management, customer service and business development.

If you're ambitious, enjoy taking ownership and want to help build a business that's continually improving, we'd love to hear from you.
