By Dr Vali is looking to add 360 Consultant: Cosmetic Dermatology/Medical Wellness (Dr) to the team, a key role within the business, responsible for the client journey, clinical excellence and revenue generation. This is a multi-functional, fast paced and hands-on role with plenty of diverse responsibilities and opportunity for growth.

By Dr Vali has an integrated team of cosmetic dermatology, medical wellness and biohacking experts to provide optimal health care provision for our clients - #BDVFamily. The right candidate must be highly organised, clinically skilled, process driven and have high attention to detail, with capacity for growth and development.

Duties to include:

Clinical Knowledge & Experience:

  • Knowledge of skin lab, face lab, hair lab, body lab, wellness lab and adaptive skincare
  • Knowledge and experience of dermatology, aesthetic medicine, medical wellness pathology, clinical presentation and management *(training can be provided)
  • Have basic knowledge of services/treatments/products offered at the Experiential Centre in order to offer correct information and support on treatments and services when communicating with clients *(training can be provided)
  • Trained to support clients through a 360 degree approach ‘inside out’ aesthetic medicine and health optimisation/medical wellness journey *(training can be provided)

Client Journey Management

  • Executes all aspects of the Client Journey optimally maintaining exceptional standards of care and client service and upholding the Company’s professional image at all times.
  • Optimizing all aspects of the client journey to drive growth and revenue (pre-clinic, in clinics, sales service delivery, aftercare, stakeholder engagement etc)
  • Experienced in and able to carry out client consultations with prospective clients, to determine individual needs, and to make recommendations on appropriate treatments.
  • Documentation of all confidential patient information, medical record keeping, communication, imaging, consent etc
  • Ensure that all treatments are performed to an exceptionally high standard across the business and act where gaps are seen.
  • Excellence in communication and interpersonal skills with clients including the ability to listen and the ability to overcome challenges while always remaining professional and calm in the BDV 360 Experiential Centre
  • Handling client complaints promptly and ensuring the most convenient resolution and client satisfaction.
  • Able to develop ingenious ideas and concepts for client attraction and interaction, with an energetic and positive attitude.
  • Maximising revenue opportunity through link and upselling treatments, courses and retail
  • Work with all team members to provide a professional and positive experience for all clients.
  • Have full understanding of the aesthetic/wellness/retail service and products to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Deliver a world class customer journey to all clients.

Clinical

  • Ensure compliance with the patient journey pre, during and aftercare consistent with an optimal safe service in the patient’s best interest.
  • Pre-screen patients for their health, including medical history taking, medical symptom questionnaires, checking allergy status etc undertaking a full 360 consultation.
  • Assessing clients concerns during consultations in clinic and virtually in skin lab, face lab, body lab, hair lab and wellness lab and composing an accurate treatment plan with treatment protocols *(training can be provided)
  • Performing common aesthetic, medical wellness services with outstanding competence *(training can be provided for advanced services)
  • Working in collaboration with the Medical Directors, doctors, team members to facilitate optimal treatment/service outcomes for the client.
  • Assist doctors/carry out in minor surgical procedures, managing the patient through to follow-up including managing potential complications of minor surgical procedures/dermatological procedures.
  • Trained to perform dermatological, aesthetic treatments, medical wellness/biohacking services eg including Lasers, Lipolysis, Stem cells, Injectables, Threads, IV's, Wellness/Biohacking procedures and assisting in advanced procedures etc
  • Administer Intravenous medicines, phlebotomy and other treatments, maintaining a high standard of hygiene and patient safety.
  • Managing potential complications of cosmetic dermatological procedures and medical wellness services e.g. lasers, hyperbaric oxygen therapy etc
  • Duties include taking medical histories, performing examinations and developing a treatment plan within their scope of practice for patients and treatment administration *(training can be provided)
  • Deliver concierge/remote delivery of IVs, phlebotomy, as business requires, including for events and home visits.
  • Train and upskill team members through assessments and training for driving clinical excellence in areas of competence.
  • Utilise established clinical pathways and/or evidence-based clinical guidelines in the assessment and monitoring of patients.
  • Support clients through cosmetic dermatology, medical wellness and biohacking journeys
  • Order laboratory testing and other diagnostic procedures and confer with the requesting health care professional.
  • Counsel and educate patients on appropriate services, treatments and self-care management eg metabolism biohacking, preventive interventions, wellness treatments etc.
  • Key role in supporting the clinic director in any/all delegated governance activities.
  • Completing medical forms, client treatment consents, GDPR photo consents, COVID-19 screening forms and writing up medical diagnosis
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of treatment rooms and clinical areas.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Implement and keep up to date with policies and clinical procedures.
  • Conduct audits/ checks as per the clinic audit schedule (including but not limited to do daily checklists, fridge temperature, emergency equipment, medication, infection control, hand hygiene, machine safety checks) in accordance with CQC/Health & Safety regulations.
  • Assist management in CQC compliance to comply with CQC regulatory framework to achieve ‘outstanding’ status.
  • Facilitate and manage innovation, research and development.
  • Ensure health & safety regulations are compliant, managing and escalating where required.
  • Document all patient information in the medical record in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Assist in management of patient complaints, SEA’s and potential complications of treatments.

Non clinical Responsibilities (but not limited to):

● Resolve clinic related issues in a timely manner (IT, building, customer, staff etc.)

● Maintain the strictest of confidentiality (written, oral and electronic) and ensure compliance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

● Have complete knowledge of the menu of services, and appropriately upsell and cross sell from the service menu.

● Promote or create cosmetic dermatology, medical wellness and biohacking education materials and/or programs appropriate to the individual and general patient population.

● Document all patient information in the medical record in a timely and accurate manner.

● Audit standards of care provision

● Attend MDT meetings and take responsibility for personal ongoing education.

● Promote the By Dr Vali public image both within and outside the practice, consistent with the high-quality services provided.

● Maintain and order adequate and necessary supplies, equipment, consumables etc

● Ensure regular client contact, care and reactivation.

● Deliver and contribute to premium service delivery throughout the client’s journey.

● Implement efficient processes and systems to support service delivery.

● Help to maintain clinic maintenance and presentation is always of the highest cleanliness and standard.

● Greet and welcome clients, providing a warm and professional first impression.

● Manage appointment bookings, cancellations, and rescheduling using our clinic management software.

● Invoicing clients, ensuring invoices are closed.

● Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, or in person, ensuring timely and accurate information.

● Assist with administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and maintaining client records.

● Coordinate with healthcare practitioners to manage patient flow and ensure a smooth client experience.

● Participate in team meetings and contribute to the ongoing improvement of our clinic's services.

● Managing the cash register, purchase orders, updating the delivery tracker

● Collecting feedback via feedback forms

Team Integration

  • Co-ordinate activity across the Experiential Centre, liaising will all disciplines to ensure smooth running of procedures.
  • Solution focussed and ability to deal with a range of personalities, developing strong rapport with each team member.
  • Supporting clinic managers and team members with additional duties as and when required
  • Displaying proficient leadership qualities within the team

Operations

  • Ensuring all clinic related issues are resolved quickly with highest priority.
  • General clinic operations relating to practitioner and client journey.
  • Working with the team to ensure operational aspects are completed e.g. stock taking, client journey audit, clientelling etc
  • Will assist the management team to ensure compliancy with CQC regulation is adhered and maintained.
  • Compliant with all operational policies and procedures of the Company
  • Maintain CRM systems, ensuring all data input/documentation for treatments/services/products for patient and patient files are up to date and organised.

Sales & Marketing

  • Achieve treatment and retail sales targets at the Experiential Center
  • Motivated to onboard effective sales and education training provided with self-discipline to carry out further personal reading to achieve targets.
  • Works effectively as possible, prioritising high potential leads, delivering rapid response to client enquiries and maximising revenue opportunity from each prospect.
  • Independent and motivated in managing sales performance; running regular reports, to meet sales targets through up-sales and cross sales, working closely with management team to achieve business targets.
  • Motivated to create educational aesthetic, wellness, ‘By Dr Vali’ product content for digital channels with content team.

Reporting

This job will report into the Clinical Lead, Medical Director and Management Team

Skills and Qualifications

· Strong computer skills, proficient use of Microsoft Office (including Excel, MS Project, MS PowerPoint) and apps (BDV has it’s own Client App)

· Excellence in communication, organisational skills, time-management paired with proficiency, presentability, self-motivation and initiative in work ethic

· Experience working in a CQC environment (preferred)

· Qualifications: GMC registered and valid post-graduate qualifications in relevant areas +/- specialist register

· Minimum of 5 years experience in aesthetic/medical wellness with case portfolio as evidence including complications management

· Experience in the dermatology/aesthetic/medical wellness industries

· Experience in luxury clinics, VIP clientele

· Proficient leadership abilities
