Technical & Regulatory Information Officer

NOTE *Only apply if you meet the job requirements & Have experience within the Cosmetic industry*

The key role of a Reporting to The Technical & Regulatory Director, the Technical & Regulatory Information Officer is responsible for assisting the team in accurate data collection, reporting, maintenance and of the Cosmetic production information files.

You will provide support to all members of the Regulatory Compliance Team to facilitate the delivery of projects assigned, ensuring products are safe and legal for market entry.

Responsibilities

  • Collection of data relating to the requirements of the PIF (Formulas, INCI’s, claims data, Testing data etc)
  • Request CPSR’s to our external providers and monitor job tracking
  • Building the PIF (production information files) in accordance with the cosmetic regulations
  • Maintenance and collation of data relating to external certification of products such as Cruelty Free International, Vegan etc
  • Developing knowledge of regulations relating to the development, manufacture, and sale of Cosmetic and toiletry products
  • Communicating with 3rd party factories to request data and ensure up to date and accurate information is received and to company standards.
  • Responsible for notifying products within SCPN, CPNP and MoCRA.
  • Any other duties that may be required from time to time.

Requirements

· Ideally have a chemistry degree/Cosmetic science degree to be able to understand formulations and its ingredients

· Experience within the cosmetics, personal care, chemical, pharmaceutical, food, or regulatory compliance sectors.

· Knowledge of cosmetic regulations, ingredient compliance, or product certification requirements.

· Excellent organisation and organisation skills

· Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines

· Ability to work well independently and alongside the wider business

Location: Office based with 1-day WFH (Friday)

Salary: Up to £30pa depending on experience
