Job Introduction

The Medway Test takes place every year for pupils wishing to apply to attend a Medway grammar school.
Medway Council Education Access welcome you to apply to invigilate the Medway Test. Please see the job descriptions for the role you wish to apply for.



The test dates are as follows:

  • Saturday 19 September 2026
  • Sunday 20 September 2026
  • Saturday 7 November 2026


You will be expected to work up to 7 hours on a test day, inclusive of 2x 20-minute breaks.

If your application is successful you will need to attend mandatory training to be delivered face to face at a venue on 26 August 2026.

The successful post holder will be subject to a DBS List 99 check.
