We are seeking an experienced and motivated Specialist Psychological Therapist with a strong background in addiction and trauma treatment to join our therapy team. This role is well suited to a practitioner who works confidently within evidence-based, structured therapeutic models, often taking a cognitive or integrative cognitive approach, and who is comfortable delivering both individual and group-based therapy.
You will work with service users presenting with substance use disorders, trauma-related difficulties, and co-occurring mental health conditions, contributing to a comprehensive and clinically robust treatment programme.

- EMDR
- Trauma-focused therapies
- Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)

- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
- Other structured, evidence-based psychological approaches
A strong grounding in addiction treatment frameworks and trauma-informed care is essential.
Key Responsibilities

- Design and facilitate structured group therapy programmes, including psychoeducational and process groups
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, alongside psychiatrists, nurses, and other therapists
- Contribute to formulation, treatment planning, and clinical reviews
- Maintain clear, accurate, and timely clinical documentation
- Uphold professional, ethical, and confidentiality standards at all times
What We’re Looking For
- Post-qualification experience delivering therapy in mental health and/or addiction settings
- Formal training and clinical experience in evidence-based psychological therapies, particularly CBT and/or EMDR
- Experience working with trauma presentations and substance use disorders
- Confidence delivering both individual and group therapy
- A thoughtful, grounded, and client-centred therapeutic style
- Ability to work effectively within a structured clinical environment
What We Offer
- A supportive and experienced multidisciplinary team
- Regular clinical supervision and opportunities for ongoing professional development
- A calm, well-resourced working environment set within private grounds
