PERSON CENTRED COUNSELLOR

Part time

14 hours per week (2 days)

£28, 555.80 (pro rata)

Moving On Ayrshire (MOA) is seeking to recruit an experienced person-centred counsellor to join our small team working in South Ayrshire.

We are a registered charity offering one to one counselling to survivors of sexual abuse and rape. Our clients range from adults to young people aged 13 years and over. MOA also provide emergency counselling, support, advice and information to survivors in the immediate aftermath of rape. In addition, support and advice is available for relatives and friends struggling to come to terms with what has happened to their loved ones.

Applicants will hold a post graduate diploma in counselling from an accredited course and be qualified for at least 2 years, have over 450 hours of supervised practice and have a good understanding of the issues of the client group. They will also be registered or accredited with BACP or COSCA. An enhanced PVG check is required.
