Full job description

We are seeking a skilled Sports Massage Therapist to join our team in providing exceptional massage therapy services to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for promoting health and well-being through therapeutic touch. Helping people fix their aches and pains or finding a solution to help them manage them properly through exercise or movement.

This will be a cover position initially so will suit someone with at least a part-time job somewhere else! Most weeks there will be 10 hours available and some weeks far more hours when staff are on holiday.

We are a Top Rated and Award winning massage practice in the heart of Leeds city centre. We offer a range of different Sports massage and Sports Injury treatments from our 2 treatment rooms and have an on-site private personal training studio. We pride ourselves on our customer service, attention to detail and ensuring all of our clients needs are met.

We are looking for someone who is knowledgeable, excellent at what they do and will fit well in to our experienced fun team.

Duties:
- Perform various types of massages including mainly Sports and Deep Tissue Massage
- Assess clients' soft tissue condition, joint quality, and function
- Develop and propose client treatment plans that specify which types of massages are to be used
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
- Provide clients with guidance on overall wellness, including stretches and exercises
- Ensure a clean and hygienic work environment in the massage room

Requirements:
- Accredited Level 3 qualification in Massage Therapy as a Minimum
- Accreditation and Insurance with an appropriate body.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients
- Ability to adapt massage techniques to suit individual client needs
- A professional and friendly demeanour

Additional skills such as being competent on social media and certain holistic massage qualifications would be a bonus.
