The Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Therapeutic Child Care Practitioner to support the emotional, social, and developmental needs of children in our care. You will play a key role in delivering therapeutic interventions, creating a nurturing environment, and working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to promote each child’s well-being and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build trusting, therapeutic relationships with children.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans.
  • Use trauma-informed approaches to support emotional regulation and resilience.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for children’s development.
  • Collaborate with social workers, therapists, and families to ensure holistic care.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports in line with safeguarding policies.

About You:

  • Qualification in childcare, social work, psychology, or a related field (Level 3 or above preferred).
  • Experience working with children in care, particularly those with complex needs.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed and therapeutic care approaches.
  • Excellent communication, empathy, and teamwork skills.
