About the opportunity
As part of our wider service growth, we're looking for experienced CYP and/or Family Counsellors to join our self-employed affiliate network. You will be delivering in person, short-term, evidence-based counselling to children, young people and/or families in your local area. We are only looking for those that can offer face to face appointments at this time.

A significant part of this caseload supports children and young people from military-connected families, so experience with this client group (or a genuine interest in developing it) is a strong advantage.

What You'll Be Doing:

- Delivering CYP and/or family counselling sessions face-to-face (remote sessions may be offered in certain circumstances)

- Carrying out risk assessment/safeguarding throughout the client journey

- Keeping accurate, timely clinical records on our systems

- Working in line with service policies, safeguarding and clinical governance requirements

- Liaising with the clinical team on risk and safeguarding concerns

What You'll Need:

- A recognised counselling qualification

- Recognised training and/or experience in CYP and/or family counselling

- Minimum three years' post-qualification experience

- Professional body membership accredited by the PSA (e.g. BACP, BABCP, UKCP or equivalent)

- Strong safeguarding and risk management experience

- Ability to offer in-person sessions in your local area

- Accreditation (or working towards) Preferred

Nice to Have:

- Experience delivering short-term, evidence-based interventions

- Experience working with military-connected families

- Experience in commissioned or funded services

- A suitable, confidential space for face-to-face client work

Advantages for you:

- A flexible, self-managed caseload - you decide your capacity, availability, session times

- Referrals matched to your availability and location

- Clinical support and governance from an experienced team

- A secure, easy-to-use case management system

- CPD opportunities

Session fees confirmed with successful affiliates during onboarding
